Don't skip your weekends when you are trying to build an exercise habit. The weekends are not a time to get lazy and eat unhealthy. But if weight loss is your goal, it's a full time, every day goal for you. It is not possible to not do anything all weekend and do it during the week.
Track and monitor your progress with a diary or journal; it will help you stay motivated. This record of your journey will keep you aware of your plans and allow you to see patterns and progress. Make sure you take getting into shape very serious, almost as if your entire well-being depends upon it.
