It is OK to take a few short-cuts when weight lifting. If you need to use a bit of your body to get those last couple of reps in, it's okay. In fact, this is a great way to increase your workout volume. Be careful not to do this to the extreme. Control how quickly you complete each weight lifting cycle. Don't do an unreasonable number of reps in a short period of time. Do not let your form be compromised.
