In order to preserve the dark leafy vegetables for juicing, keep them stored in tight zippered bags. Before bagging the vegetables, rinse them thoroughly and use a towel to dry them off.
Don't mix a bunch of vegetables you have never tried before together when juicing. Do this in case your stomach doesn't like the juice, and then you will know which vegetable it is that irritated your stomach.
They can be a little bitter, so mix them with sweeter fruit and vegetables like citrus, carrots, or berries. You might enjoy drinking a blend of different berries as much as I do. Mix them to your own
