It may still contain other ingredients that are detrimental to your health. Processed foods are rarely a healthy choice. The labels on the foods that you choose should include ingredients that you recognize. Avoid nutrition labels riddled with artificial ingredients.

Be wary of consuming too many canned foods, as they are usually high in sodium. If you take in too much sodium it will raise your blood pressure and you can develop heart disease.
