Track your body fat percentage as you build muscle. Weight shows you little, as you will most likely lose fat, but gain muscle. Muscle is much denser than fat so do not rely on your weight alone when gauging your success.
Change the order of your exercise routine on a regular basis. Do not become a creature of habit. If you always leave one group of muscles until last, they will always be tired when you finally get to them. If you start your workout with the muscle groups you usually leave until the end, you can work them to their limit, which will encourage muscle gain.
