Add whole grains to your diet. Whole grains are much better for the body than the refined carbs that are so prevalent in diets today. Try including brown rice, whole wheat pasta, and 100% whole grain bread to your daily diet. This will make up for the fiber and nutrients that most refined carbohydrates do not offer.
Consider substituting fruit juice with actual fruit. Look for sweeteners on the label of fruit juice. Many have them. But a piece of fruit only contains natural sugars. There are many juices on the market today that actually have more sugar added to it than a can of pop. Fresh
